How To Increase Your Repeat Traffic
September 3rd, 2011Hey fellows in this piece I want to quickly cover 10 pointers that may help you raise your repeat website traffic. I learned a lot of my site traffic methods from Chris Farrell who is releasing a fresh product which you can see more about on my chris mentor me review video.
But enough about that let’s leap right into these 10 tips.
1. Update the pages on your internet site often. Stagnant sites are dropped by some search engines. You may also put a date counter on the page to show when it was last updated.
2. Offer extra price on your internet site. For affiliates and partners you can place links to their sites and products and ask them to do the same for you. You can advertise their books or videos, if these products relate to your industry and aren't competing against your own product.
3. You can allow shoppers to ‘opt in ‘ to get discounts and specials. Place a link on your website to invite customers to ‘opt in ‘ to get a monthly newsletter or valuable vouchers.
4. Add a link to your primary page with a script ‘Book Mark or Add this site to your Favorites’.
5. Add a link ‘Recommend this site to a Friend ‘ so that the visitor can e-mail your website link, with a prewritten title, “Thought you could be enthusiastic about this”, just by clicking on it.
6. Brand your internet site so that visitors always know they're on your internet site. Use consistent colours, symbols and slogans and always supply a ‘Contact Us ‘ link on all pages.
7. Create a ‘Our Policies ‘ page that obviously outlines your philosophy and guidelines in dealing with your clients. Also post your privacy policy as well so that clients know they are secure when they visit your website.
8. Create a FAQ page which addresses almost all of the doubts and clarifications about your product or your company that are probably going to be asked. This helps to resolve almost all of the customers doubts in their first visit to your site.
9. Make sure that each page on your site has suitable titles and keywords so that your customer can find their way back to your site if they lose the book mark.
10. Never spam a customer, who has opted for newsletters, with unsolicited emails. Later if they decide they'd like to ‘opt out ‘ of the mailings, be absolutely certain you honor their request and take them off the mailing list. They may still come back if they like your products. But they can certainly not come back if you continue to flood their e-mail box with mails they no longer want to receive.
