how do you really increase traffic to an online store without paying a fortune?

ADVERTISING! the internet is the biggest and probably easiest way to advertise. Trying to run a business or sell a product without advertising is like winking at a girl in the dark; YOU know what you’re doing, but no one else does. Good luck, buddy, remember: ADVERTISE!

Your site is great. The prices are good and the products are uniquie and very good quality. Also, the site LOOKS good.
I do a LOT of online shopping. I would not shop at your store, because it does not have the reputation of the places I shop at and trust (Amazon, Macy’s, Overstock, Tiffany’s, etc.). I was burned once by an unknown, small company…I won’t make that mistake again.
Until you can build your reputation, sell on Amazon or eBay as a Store.
Advertise on Craig’s List.
Advertise specials…free shipping is always a great one.
If I get more ideas, I’ll send them over.

well your website provides alot of good stuff, and the prices are good, but you need more traffic.
well I’m not here to b.s. you about oh go to this site and pay a fortune and this and that, well I am going to give you a site, but trust me you’ll thank me after a while. they get millions of hits, and they’re well known, and trust me, well you don’t need to put your ad there for years, I mean you can try for a month, it won’t cost you a fortune, and it’s pretty good, peronal thought ..

you should give prizes and gifts; you can do something for each person’ for example if one of your usual customers want to buy something; you can tell him if he sent it to 100people(just an example) he can get it for free; with this you let people know about your website; and you give him the thing he wants for free; which will increase his loyalty too;
