How do I increase traffic to a Guild Wars fansite?

http://www.pixelrage.com/mesmerize is a fansite with resources, but I don’t get as much traffic in the forums as I’d like. How should I go about increasing the amount of people who visit.

Provide unique content that can’t be found anyplace else. Link to many other similar fansites - they may link back to you. Provide for some sort of user interact.
The number one way to make your site more popular though is to make it stand out apart from all the other Guild War fansites.

Another good way is to submit you URL to different search engines like Google and Yahoo. For Yahoo check this link out.
In case you want to spend money, you can pay for adds e.g. here

I suspect you know more than you ask.
You already did something to increase your traffic, right?
Probably, in the future, yahoo! can ban such questions, requiring to replace them by more generic question.
Otherwise, imagine some interview on TV can be done in the following way:
Asker: How many people you kill?
Asker: How long did you sit in jail?
The respondent could be an innocent guy, who never did anything wrong in his whole life. It’s not necessarily the best example, but you got the idea.
