Here are some ways you can promote your blog
1. Create great content – everything starts with great content. Think ‘Linkbait” — or writing about stuff that would be so great that people will want to link to you. It can be a news hook where you write about something that is contrary to what everyone else is saying; resource hook where you have the only information available or humor hook.
2. Update the content regularly – make your visitors come back again and again to your blog by providing daily updates (even multiple posts per day!)

This website is great for web advertising. It’s a free targeted advertising (based on you selecting various categories you would like to be included in) and link exchange network. You put other websites text ads on your page and yours appears on others. And it really is 100% free, forever. While it’s not something that guarantees traffic it also doesn’t cost anything, so why not try it?
The same people behind that website also run a free blog review swap and exchange that is useful.

1- Start a blog.
You can install a Wordpress blog or setup a Blogger blog and post to your server. Within minutes your site will be crawled by those robots, and your site will start appearing on other sites.
2- Forum marketing.
What is your niche? Why not go to a forum where people always ask for help related to your niche. You might want to offer free advice, and don’t forget to include your URL in the signature.

Hi there, did you think about domains for your blogs (redirect). This would be something I do consider first, makes people remember my blog´s name easier.
Traffic: Making a post to digg.com can help. Pinging it at Technorati.com will too and you can also submit it to blogcatalog.com which helps you getting indexed fast.
Further you can create a lens on squidoo.
But actually the best way would be to concentrate on your main keyword of each blog and start writing articles. That way you can sort of trick the SE´s because i.e. ezinearticles.com have a good pagerank and your articles will rank high on google. (but not forever..)
